Software CRADLE Co. Ltd. (Osaka, Japan) has been developing fluid flow and heat transfer simulation softwares since 1984. A list of companies that are using CRADLE softwares day-by-day is here. The absolute Number 1 softwares in Japan has now arrived to this region of Europe. What we know about the masterpieces of Japanese engineering, these are true for the CRADLE softwares as well.

Our new CFD softwares are fast and powerful like the Nissan GT-R. Precise and focused like the Katana sword. Accurate and comfortable like the Shinkansen train.

But among the special CFD softwares which gives exactly that answer you need? You can easily find the one for the purpose if you identify your applications or your problems to be solved below.

SC/Tetra
  1. How much lift force a car body or an aircraft wing develops?
  2. How the rubber sealing deforms in the pneumatic valve and what noise does it generate if air with 6 bar pressure flows through?
  3. What is the frequency and amplitude of noise that is generated in the wind turbine?
  4. How can the air cooling of freshly cast automotive parts be intensified to save a costy heat treating?
  5. What torque can be measured in the rotation axis of a mixer and what is the shape of free surface like?
  6. Do you have complex, curved surfaces in your simulation geometry and you have a whole lot of them?
HEAT Designer
  1. Would you like to know in the development phase if components of performance electronics that is packed to a small space will burn or not?
  2. Will the LEDs in the high performance spot lamp overheat so neither their expected lifetime nor their color match the design criteria?
  3. You work for a company that develops performance electronics and you have no experience with thermal simulation softwares?
scSTREAM
  1. How can the air conditioning parameters of many rooms of a building be modeled?
  2. Where the air velocity is too low or too high in the clean room?
  3. Will dew condensate on walls?
  4. Can the wind load of large buildings be modeled?
  5. What is the air pollution in a city district like?
  6. What happens if a dam breaks? Where the water will flow?
  7. Your model consists of simple shapes (cylinders, blocks) but you have a lot of them?

"During our cooperation we received the results fast, we analyzed those together with Robert and so decided on the geometry of the product. The latter tests of the analyzed pneumatic distributor confirmed the volume flow results of the fluid flow simulations. Using the simulations we avoided the production and testing of 2-3 prototypes together with reducing many weeks of experimenting to some days.

Krisztián Szabó, head of product development, FESTO-AM Manufacturing Ltd.

"...I am confident that while redesigning the flue gas cooling tower, with the simulations we successfully avoided versions and trials we would surely have done without using it.

Jenő Benkő, head of engineering office, Ventifilt Inc.
